Our world is inherently diverse, yet research frequently fails to account for this diversity. Researchers can inadvertently overlook valuable insights and miss opportunities for meaningful inclusion in recruiting and research practices. How can we advocate for inclusivity and representation and identify our own biases, while maintaining methodological rigor? In this talk, Kat Chiluiza will use real-world examples to discuss Do’s and Don’ts when conducting research with diverse audiences. This talk will also share tips on how researchers can have conversations about inclusivity with stakeholders in each stage of research from planning and execution to share outs.
