Lisa Madokoro founded and leads Shopify’s Talent Research and Insights team. From her previous careers as a product manager and member of Shopify’s Culture team, she recognized the need to take a human-centered research-first approach to building great teams, programs, and products for employees. Outside of work, Lisa loves preparing elaborate travel guides for her friends, and cheering on the Blue Jays through the highs and lows.
